How a tutor runs online tuition with TuitionDesk
You can run online classes for up to 10 students free, forever on TuitionDesk: no credit card and no time limit. TuitionDesk does not host video. It creates a Google Meet link for each class through Google Calendar and runs everything around the class: schedule, invites, attendance, parents and fees.

Step by step: your first online class
- Sign up and set your country, currency and timezone at app.tuitiondesk.in.
- Connect Google Calendar. Each online session then gets a Google Meet link automatically. See Google Meet and Zoom for online classes.
- Create a batch and add students (or a one-to-one student). See batches and attendance.
- Invite parents to the parent portal. They receive the calendar invite and see fees, attendance and progress.
- Teach, then mark attendance from your phone or laptop.
Timezones and international students
Set your academy's timezone once. Google Calendar invites display the class in each invitee's own local time. TuitionDesk supports any country with a custom currency symbol and a full IANA timezone; see other country support. International fee collection through Stripe is on Growth and above. Each plan covers one country of operation.
Study material, homework and online assessments
- Homework (Starter and above): assign to a batch, parents see it in the portal. Add revision video links with an optional access date. See homework and revision videos.
- Study material and teacher prep files (Growth and above): upload files for students, and keep private preparation material for yourself.
- Online quizzes and assessments (Growth and above): see online quizzes and progress tracking.
Fee receipts and invoices online
Track pending and overdue fees and send reminders on the Free plan. PDF receipts and invoices and online collection (Razorpay for India, Stripe for international) start at Growth. See fee receipts and invoices and digital fee receipts.
