Homework revision and catch-up videos

Homework and catch-up video links stay with the assignment
Homework and catch-up video links stay with the assignment — not lost in WhatsApp.

On Growth, Pro, and Enterprise, homework can include one or more external revision / catch-up video links (same plan feature as session recordings: sessionRecording). Students who missed a live class can open the videos from the parent portal → Homework tab.

How to assign

  1. Open Homework and create an assignment.
  2. Under Revision / catch-up videos, paste YouTube Unlisted, Drive, OneDrive, or Vimeo URLs and optional labels.
  3. Optionally set Video access until. After that date, parents still see the homework text but video links are hidden. Leave blank so videos stay available while the student has parent-portal homework access.
  4. Publish the homework so parents and students can open the links.

If Publish fails while demo/sample data is still installed, clear sample data in Settings → Demo data first — the centre cannot edit real homework until then.

Chase incomplete work

Open a published assignment → submissions. Incomplete rows show Nudge parent (and a bulk nudge). Parents with the app get a push to finish before the next class; the submissions page also shows the next class date when the homework is tied to a batch.

TuitionDesk stores URLs only — it does not host full classroom video files. Prefer short revision clips for catch-up.
