Demo data: load sample records, then clear them
See a full academy — owner, teacher and parent views — before you type in a single real student.
Load it
- Open Home during guided setup, or Settings → Demo data.
- Click Load demo data. Seeding takes a few seconds.
- An amber Demo data active bar appears on every page until you clear it.
Names, grades, programmes and phone codes follow your Country of operation, so the sample set reads like your own centre.
What you get
- People — about 30 students (active, inactive, completed and dropped), teachers with their own logins, and parents with parent-portal logins
- Classes — 4 classes with timings, three weeks of sessions, topics, and attendance including a few low-attendance students
- Money — fee plans, two months of generated fees with paid, partial and overdue examples, plus failed online payment attempts
- Teaching — class notes with homework, the homework module with submissions and marks, and weekly test scores
- Communication — announcements, and a notification history that fills the parent Updates feed
- Front office — enquiries across the funnel (new, in follow-up, converted, lost)
- Parent activity — parent-teacher meetings with RSVPs, parent meeting requests and parent leave notices waiting for staff
Try the other logins
Demo teacher and parent accounts use emails ending in @td.demo with the password Demo@1234. Sign in from a private window to see the teacher app and the parent portal side by side with your owner view.
Editing is locked while demo data is active
Adding or changing records is blocked so sample and real data never mix. Reading, filtering and reports all work normally.
Clear it when you are done
- Use Clear demo data on the amber bar, the Home card, or Settings → Demo data.
- Everything seeded is removed — students, classes, fees, attendance, notes, homework, announcements, meetings, parent requests and sample documents — and editing unlocks.
Clearing only touches demo records. Anything you created yourself stays. Running it twice is safe.
