Stripe in the Philippines supports:

• GCash — the most widely used e-wallet in the Philippines

When a parent receives a fee reminder via Facebook Messenger or SMS, there is a Pay Now link. They tap it, pay through GCash or their card, and TuitionDesk marks the fee as paid automatically. No collecting cash at the door, no manual recording.

Setting Up Stripe

1. Open Settings → Payments in your TuitionDesk dashboard
2. Connect your Stripe account (or create one — registration is free)
3. Enable GCash, Maya, and cards as payment methods
4. Add your Philippine bank account (BPI, BDO, UnionBank, or others) for payouts

Payouts arrive in your PHP bank account within 2–5 business days.

VAT on Tuition Fees

In the Philippines, educational services provided by accredited institutions are VAT-exempt under the NIRC. If your review centre is registered and compliant, you may issue non-VAT receipts.

TuitionDesk's receipts can be configured to include or exclude VAT. Whether your fees include 12% VAT or are VAT-exempt, the receipt generates correctly based on your fee plan settings.

Managing K-12 and Board Review Programmes
