Introducing Aiyan — TuitionDesk's AI Assistant

Today we're formally introducing Aiyan — the AI assistant built into every part of TuitionDesk.

If you've used TuitionDesk recently, you've probably already met Aiyan without knowing the name: the "Ask AI" drawer, the Centre Advisor, the fee follow-up suggestions, the admissions score on a new enquiry — all of that is Aiyan. What changes today is that it's one consistent name, one consistent character, and one consistent assistant across the entire product, instead of several differently-branded AI features stitched together.

Why we named the assistant

Most coaching-software AI features don't have a name — they're a "smart suggestion," an "AI insight," a chatbot icon in the corner. That's fine for a single feature, but TuitionDesk's AI shows up in a dozen different places: setup, drafting, fee collection, admissions scoring, the parent portal. Without a name, every one of those felt like a separate, disconnected feature, even though it's the same underlying assistant doing the work.

Giving it a name — Aiyan — makes it a character the owner, the teacher, and the parent all recognise, no matter which screen they're on. Same assistant, same voice, same trust, whether you're setting up your first class or a parent is asking about their child's attendance.

Where you'll meet Aiyan

Aiyan isn't a chatbot bolted on top of TuitionDesk — it's wired into the workflows owners, teachers, and parents already use every day:

• Ask Aiyan — the drawer/FAB on every dashboard page, for a how-to answer or a direct link to the screen you need.
• Set up with Aiyan — describe your classes and fees in plain English during Centre Setup, and Aiyan creates the classes, batches, and fee plans for you.
• Draft with Aiyan — homework descriptions, question-bank questions, teaching-plan topics, and session-note remarks, drafted so you're editing instead of starting blank.
• Fee Intelligence — Aiyan flags repeat late-payers and drafts a flexible payment offer, so fee follow-up stops being a monthly guessing game.
• Aiyan Score — on every new admission enquiry, a second opinion scored against your own conversion history.
• Parent portal advisor — parents get the same Aiyan, answering questions about their child's fees, attendance, and progress directly from the parent portal.

One assistant, every plan

Aiyan is available on every TuitionDesk plan, including the free plan (up to 10 students). A few Aiyan-powered features — Fee Intelligence and Teacher Insight — are gated to paid plans, and drafting actions use a monthly org AI credit allowance included on every plan. Nothing about how you reach Aiyan changes based on plan; what changes is which of Aiyan's capabilities are unlocked.

What this replaces

If you've seen "Ask AI," "Centre Advisor AI," "Teacher Insight AI," or "TuitionDesk Advisor" anywhere in the product before today, that's the same capability — now under one name. Nothing about the underlying feature changes; the rename just makes it clear it's all one assistant.

What's next

This is the first public introduction of Aiyan as a named product — we're recording it here, dated, as the starting point. From here, expect Aiyan's presence across the app to keep growing: more of the manual admin work in a coaching centre — the parts that currently mean opening WhatsApp, cross-checking a spreadsheet, or chasing someone for an update — handed to an assistant that already has your live data on hand.
